Violin & Viola Lessons

After obtaining her Bachelor and Master of Music from the University of British Columbia, Barbara Irschick went to New York City and Toronto for further study. While in Ontario she performed six seasons with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra while also freelancing with other orchestras.

Since returning to Vancouver, Barbara plays regularly with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, the Lions Gate Sinfonia, and is a long-standing member of the Pro Nova Ensemble. She teaches violin and viola privately and is a member of the BC Registered Music Teachers’ Association.
